Our vision for Native American peoples is to provide affordable holistic health coaching because 81% of native Americans are overweight, 16% have type 2 diabetes, and 24% live in poverty. Seeing this in our own tribe has driven us to become holistic lifestyle coaches.
The Coeur d’Alene Tribe is also known as, in our own language, Schitsu’umsh, meaning “Those who were found here” or “The discovered people”. We are the sum of countless generations and stories of our ancestors. Native Americans were the pioneers of holistic health. They believed, and we believe, that when we live harmoniously with Mother Earth we will live healthfully.
